To protect the security of your financial data, our payment processor (Stripe) only allows manual updates for payment methods by the subscriber.
Please note:

If you became a Member before October 2024, you will access your Membership through TED.com, so long as you linked your Membership to a TED.com account (see below).
- If you became a Member during or after October 2024, your Membership does not require access to the Membership Dashboard. Rather, you will access your Membership through a third-party platform (see bottom of the page).
For pre-10/2024 Members who use the Membership Dashboard:
Be sure to log in to TED.com with your Membership-linked account, and then follow these steps to update your Membership payment method:
- Open the Membership Dashboard by clicking My Membership in the upper right corner and choose Settings in the left-hand menu
- Click Edit next to your current payment method
- Click Add new payment
- Enter your new credit card details
- Click Add payment to save the changes
If you are unable to access the Membership Dashboard settings page on TED.com, it's likely that you have linked your Membership to a different account, or no account at all. Please reach out to us at members@ted.com.
For post-10/2024 Members:
Follow the link at the bottom of your Membership welcome email that says "Manage my donation," or go directly to https://giving.ted.com, and enter the email you used to make the donation.
