How do I update the payment method for my Membership subscription?

To protect the security of your financial data, our payment processor (Stripe) only allows manual updates for payment methods by the subscriber. You can do this through the Membership Dashboard.

Be sure to log in to TED.com with your Membership-linked account, and then follow these steps to update your Membership payment method:

1. Open the Membership Dashboard by clicking My Membership in the upper right corner and choose Settings in the left-hand menu
   
   
2. Click Edit next to your current payment method

3. Click Add new payment
   
4. Enter your new credit card details
   
   
5. Click Add payment to save the changes

If you are unable to access the Membership Dashboard settings page, it's likely that you have linked your Membership to a different account, or no account at all. Please reach out to us at members@ted.com.
