How do I update the payment/billing method for my Membership subscription?

To protect the security of your financial data, our payment processor (Stripe) only allows manual updates for payment methods by the subscriber.

To manage your donation and subscription, go to https://giving.ted.com, and enter the email you used to make the donation. 

1. In the "Recurring donations" section, click "View details"

    

   

    

2. On the next screen, click the "Edit" button

    

   

    

3. In the window that opens, select your preferred option in the drop-down menu "Payment method" (note: the "Bank account" option is not available in all regions)

   

    

4. Enter your updated credit card details

   

    

5. Click "Confirm" to complete the update
