To update any aspect of your profile, you'll need to log in to TED.com on a desktop or mobile browser. The TED app does not currently have a profile editor function.
After logging in, follow these steps:
- mouse over (or tap) your current profile photo or avatar in the upper right corner to open the account menu
- click or tap Account settings
- under the current profile photo or avatar, click or tap Upload
- choose a photo from your device's file system
- the photo/avatar should populate in the circle frame
- if the photo fails to upload or looks unusual, please make sure it is an acceptable format, dimension, and size; a square, 300x300 pixel photo under 2mb works best
It may take a few minutes for your profile photo to update across all platforms.
