Yes! However, you’re not required to. When uploading any performances from your event to the TED Media Uploader, organizers must ensure:
- The performance is original work, owned 100% by the performer.
- They’ve reviewed the performer and content before confirming their performance
- The performer signs the required speaker release and reviews the TED's copyright guidelines, confirming they're aware and in line with the clauses in both (including having the performance published on the TEDx YouTube channel)
- The performer and your team have been granted permission to use any music included in performances submitted to the TED Media Uploader
