TEDx team members and TEDx speakers can use up to a 60-second excerpt from their TEDx talk for non-commercial, social media use only. These clips must tag the official TEDx account on the respective platform. Find the list of our handles here.
For commercial video or audio content, including documentaries, promo videos, TV segments, and podcasts, you can share up to a 30-second excerpt from a TEDx talk with the media. This 30-second clip must be a complete excerpt, so you can't edit or mix together different pieces of the talk.
To use TEDx content outside of the conditions listed above, please request use of a TEDx video from the TED distribution team here.
Please note that your videos must be uploaded in the Media Uploader and published to YouTube prior to using any clip. We discourage organizers from sending raw footage to speakers.
