Once a set of subtitles has been created and synced to a video, the next step is “ready for review”. Only TED Translators who have published at least ten sets of subtitles in a target language, and Language Supervisors are eligible to participate in this step. This ensures that experienced volunteers will review your work and that your subtitles are in line with the TED style guide.
If you want to get in touch with a qualified reviewer, there are two ways to do so:

Reach out via CaptionHub Messaging. Simply access the “Users” tab on CaptionHub and enter the name of the TED Translator you’d like to connect with, or use the filters to sort by your language and user role. Then, click on their profile link and select the option to “Message user”.
Reviewers should provide translators with useful and constructive feedback that will help them both improve their translation skills and avoid repeating mistakes in the future.
