All archive talks that have not been approved for feature or promotion on TED.com will have a note underneath the title that reads “Editor's note: This talk was filmed and uploaded by the volunteers who organized this TEDx event; speakers and topics are selected independently of TED.” If a talk from your TEDx event has been selected for feature or promotion to TED’s distribution network (eg. TED.com homepage), the note will read “This talk was presented to a local audience at [TEDx event name], an independent event. TED's editors chose to feature it for you.” Additionally, the organizer will also receive an email notification from us
